Happy 90th Birthday Seymour Barondes!

Here is a picture from Anita Barondes and a comment in a recent email: “Our main family news is that my father had his 90th birthday (!) on March 20.  My sister, her children, her new grandchild, my father’s sister, brother-in-law and niece and her son, and significant others, were all there.  Here’s a picture of the whole group, minus Aaron’s wife and baby, who were upstairs.  My parents moved into a retirement community last December, and we held the party there.”

Quinlan Emile Curinga Duykers

We are very pleased to announce the arrival of Quinlan Emile Curinga Duykers, born January 10th, 2009 at 9:05pm. He weighed 7 pounds 5 ounces and was 19 inches long.

Remembering Bubi

Recently we saw the passing of Evelyn Giteck, my grandmother, or “Bubi.”

Some called her Bobi or Bobie…Evie, Chava, and others…

Here is her obituary.

She was a remarkable woman and touched my life in deep way. I think about her every day and miss her.

Bubi was also a complicated individual, and yet so beautifully simple. It seems that our family members all have differing experiences of her. The more family I meet, the more I understand my Bubi.

Hi Peeps!

Attached is a pic of Luke Hudson He arrived a week ago today, he’s adorable and a great baby. 8lbs. 2oz and 20in. He has a full head of hair, can’t wait to give him a faux hawk! I will work on getting you more (and close ups) over the next week or so.
